I hope in the next edition of the necron codex they give us more info about noctis Labyrith, where the void dragon, a c'tan, is supposed to sleep. Maybe even let us get a new unit.

there's a whole massive thread dedicated to what is apparently in the new Necron Codex in the News and Rumour section. should be worth a read if you like Necrons.
you may not be happy about the direction they might be going with the C'Tan though.

Basically, the whole entirety of the necron fluff is getting put through the wringer, then bludged with the retcon hammer.
Don't hold out much hope that the Noctis labarinth even gets a mention..

Shards of the C'tan are going to be elite, not the C'tan themselves. I guess the other C'tan that were killed off stored in some sort of crystal shard type thing is what we've seen mentioned, don't over-react yet anyone!

Just checked out the Necron rumor thread. The amount of butthurt is simply phenomenal.
Actually, it gives me an idea for an avatar...
In response to crocodoom's post: Its difficult to say at this point. Obviously, until the Necron codex is published their background has not changed. I am willing to bet that there will at least be a Necron-affiliated creature within the labyrinth on Mars, but nothing is certain to stay the same.

They were "eaten" and at least with the Outsider's case, very much alive.
