Plan is for Duke to start next to Incubi if possible and leave his unit of Splinter Riflemen to join Incubi ASAP. This Gives me 4 good assault units. Warriors w. Splinter Cannon hang out on an objective and their Raider acts as a spare for an assault unit that loses theirs. Reavers scream right at the enemy on turn 1, drawing fire and hopefully popping a vehicle on turn 2 with their heat lances. Warriors with Serpent's bite hover around the midfield (grabbing an objective in seize ground), drawing fire and focusing on the target that poison works best on. Wyches assault whatever unit(s) my opponent has on his objective and try to claim it - their haywire grenades mean that they will always have something they can kill once I reach my opponent's territory. Hellions go wherever needed, tying up units long enough for some wyches or incubi to arrive and kill the unit on my next turn (they fight 2 rounds of combat before leaving on my opponent's turn so that I can fly them somewhere else and assault again on my turn) and grabbing an objective at the end of the game. Duke w. Incubi are a troubleshooting unit and will go and kill any TEQs that I can't spare dark lances to kill.

I've played a couple of games with this army (against Guard, Marines and Eldar) and have gotten good results from almost everything in it (especially the hellions, they are just so mobile with hit and run which lets them avoid getting shot pretty easily since they are always in combat on my opponent's turn and are able to get a 3+ cover save on the rare occasion when they are not). I'm struggling to find stuff for my warriors to do a lot of the time though. As objective babysitters they are adequate, but it feels like they should be doing more. I have plenty of anti-infantry shooting coming out of the hellions and venom already, and these units are a lot easier to position to get shots off on enemy infantry that I'm not assaulting.

Has anyone had any luck using Warriors in Raiders? I'd really like to keep them in the list since warriors are cool but they just don't seem to perform like my other units do.

The two immediate things I see (presuming you're focused on keeping Hellions in your list );

1. I'd advocate splitting your Reavers up - they are fragile enough that the firepower it takes to kill 3 would pretty much deal with 6 as well. By splitting them up you force your opponent to have more units dedicated to dealing with them.

2. Are the Sybs really serving a purpose? That's some easy points to save right there, and without bringing upgrades to them I rather question what their purpose is, especially since those points could go towards something like FFs - which help prevent the only thing you'd really need the Syb for, and that's leadership after a vehicle is popped. I'd say go with the proactive, not the reactive defense.

Replace the Night shields with Flickerfields. Nights Shields only really work at long rang and it being transport you will be getting close. Vs the flickerfields will be working at all times at any range.

Just my 2 cents.

Are you insane? He's planning on gunboating his raiders with those splinter racks. Nightshields are epic in this case, due to them denying return fire from rapid fire weapons.

What are the sybarites doing? Do you really have 10 points to waste on them?

The reavers. Why? You have raiders deep striking into the field. Why not just have them run all over infantry with Caltrops?
