Old Post:
Hi i just finished converting my abor warboss a little bit.He is my first conversion so i just added stuff instead of swapping etc.
Feel free to tell me how you like him(even if you don't)!

I also need some help with the paintjob.I am fielding a goff army and i would like to paint him as near as possible
to the warboss shown in the aobr booklet.I can't seem to find a tutorial for it on the internet, especially the skin.

pictures taken with my phone camera hence the bad quality

Compared to one of the boyz

sideview, not exactly happy with the greenstuff filler but thats the best i can do at the moment

Thanks for the replies!

Finished him today.Only some details like cables and eyes etc. left.
I like how he turned out although he is a little bit too bronze.
Feedback appreciated.

Saw the tutorial just now,Lessthan but thanks anyway!

Looks great! Try picking out the details in the arms so that everything doesn't look like just one mass of metal. Paint some of the tubes red or blue, and paint the "extra" armor plates bronze instead of silver (a great example being the studded plate covering the tank on his shoulder from the burnas) and try highlighting the edges with straight chainmail (or boltgun). You could also paint the "plasma" looking part of his gun...
Just some ideas! It's looking great!

LOL, I thought that machine-gun arm looked familiar! How are the orks going? Awesome conversion by the way!

The vent piece is from the back of a broadside battlesuit, the barrel part is from the old metal killa kans and the smoke launcher is from the plastic sentinel (chin piece), I can't remember the rest!

How very dakka dakka. Nice conversion. Picking out pieces n the model and giving them more color will help break up the silver, but I like how gritty he looks. Good job!
