Hey there,

I'm new to Atlanta and I'm looking for a good store to play 40k and Fantasy around the north area. Where is he best place to go for a good group?

Hey there. Our local store is located in Marietta, northwest of the city. Has a large gaming group that plays a lot of 40k and fantasy, fantasy dedicated is on Mondays, 40k is on Wednesdays, but you can get a game of either on any day. Check out our forums on my sig

Giga-Bites is an awesome place, I'd definitely recommend them. Great service, great selection, and great food

Yeah, it's a nice store with alot of terrain and models especially for the size. And, not to sound like a pothead but their brownies in the cafe at the front of the store are really good. I'm on the far south side so I don't make it up there too often unfortunately.

I live on the other side of ATL and still drive an hour each way twice a week to Giga-Bites. Awesome place!

Giga-bites gets my vote, too. I'm not a GW player, I do Warmachine, but judging from the number of people there on Warmachine nights I'm sure that the days they play 40K and Fantasy are just as hopping. Haven't been there in a few months, and they recently opened in a new location, so you may want to double-check directions or PM Sergeant Horse about it directly. The store is also a cafe, so you can get coffee or a sandwich while you game, it's awesome.

Their brownies are good too. The new location (as described by the Horse himself when I was there last two months ago) is just across the parking lot/street from the old (should be visible from the previous location).

If you are a warhammer player, SUNDAY is the day to stop by.

There will be games all day, probably more than the store can handle until we move to our bigger location.

I'm Chris, feel free to stop in and say hi.
