Howdy Dakka! I recently split IoB with a friend and got the Skaven! Sadly, I have no idea how Skaven work. I had a general idea, and I went around lurking for advice, but I really couldn't find too much. So, I decided why not just post the list here?

So, yeah. The idea is to shoot 'em up before they reach our lines, then hit their depleted ranks with tons upon tons of rats. Again, I am not aware of the intricacies of Skaven, so I'm not sure if the Screaming Bell, Stormvermin or other things are really all that great.

Any and all advice is appreciated.

The thing is, you dont really have tons and tons of rats. I mean, dropping the 220pts of clanrats you have will net you 110 more slaves., which will most certainly tie things up enough for you to shoot at them (through the slaves...)

Is the bell going in the SV, or the CR?

Bear in mind that the storm banner now affects your own shooting, too - In a shooting list, this may not be the best thing to have.

A lvl4 on bell and lvl2 is IMO too much for this level, drop the warlock to lvl1 at least, if not lvl0, use the points to buy some more slaves. Gutter runners are pretty fun, and excellent if you get them poison and slings.

Split your gutter runners into two units of five. That'll give you more options for hunting your opponent's artillery.

TBH, I'm not too keen on the Bell. I mean, a lot of its benefits seem kinda meh, and some of the benefits offer combat bonuses for the unit pushing it (which is not where the bell wants to be.)

I kinda wanted to switch out the Bell for another HPA, but we'll see.

I'll split up the Gutter Runners, no harm there.

Are slaves really better? I mean, they don't seem to do much in combat, and I'm not sure if my shooting/magic will be enough.

i personally dont really enjoy slaves, if your gonna cut something for more slaves just make them into clan rats
clan rats with shield sword and light armor have been suprisingly tuff when i use them.

See, that's the thing. I'd think that Clanrats, if anything, would be better than Slaves. I'll take off the spears, for certain.
