The sink.

So I'm selling/trading some of my plague marines, thousand sons, and havocs, and apparently my models aren't current anymore. So I have a bunch of questions.

In the CURRENT havoc box, are all the models metal? The box I bought had plastic heavy bolter, everything else was metal.

Apparently plague marines are all metal now. I think mine are metal and plastic combined. I also have some plastic plague marines that I know are really old. Oh, and I have that plague marine with icon that as far as I know is the only plague marine figure with an icon available ... making it sort of current.

Thousand Sons, are they all metal now? Mine are metal and plastic.

I feel so ... obsolete now. Stupid sixteen year olds.

The current havoc box is the same as the old one, just new packaging. Those Plague Marines you describe are from the early 90's, and the full metal ones are more recent. Your Thousand Sons are the current ones, as they're still awful hybrid kits.

The model range for the cult troops and havocs is plain damn awful, I only use the OLD plague marine troops as 1) they look ace 2) the current metal ones, SUCK!

On the bright side least Khorne Berserkers are both simple to paint, make and still have blood god goodness.

And if you really want to rage, try putting a oblit together and painting it in one sitting. Go on. Try. Or bonus points follow it up with the god awful 2nd ed dreadnought
