What is the opinion of putting sidespoons and a predator turret on a vindicator.

Hoping you mean sponsons, but I would be interested in seeing spoons on the side as well.

But really, you can do whatever you want, but keep in mind that the idea of the vindicator is that many of the internal parts of the tank have been replaced by the firing mechanisms, ammo feed and shell storage for the huge cannon on the front, and conceptually would leave little room for things like extra guns, turret rotation mechanics, Etc.

If you're hoping to use it in games outside of your regular group, it probably won't fly.

Vindicators don't have the option to take sponsons (or spoons, either. It is a tank, there is NO spoon.) and although it doesn't specify that the main gun isn't in a turret, it does not mean that it CAN take one, either.

Besides, it's not like GW haven't come up with their own lame tank designs for apoc. The Achilles, for example, or the other lame landraiderguncannontankmachinething that blows up if you roll a '6' or something.

I found the Achilles was a better design than the poorly placed las-cannon monster for Apoc. But yeah, ther are orse designs out there. SPG's, Self Propelled Guns are usually just a tank shell with the One Cannon hogging up the interior.

i like the Achilles. and we only have battles with in our own group, and to battle outside our group means a train trip and on small battle fields. i think spoons on a tank would be interesting.( thanks for pointing out my poor spelling )

Post some rules for it in the Proposed Rules section. It could be interesting.

Magnetize it, that way you can swap the armored sides for spoons, and the top+front plate as well.

Poor orks... Why can't they be the good guys for once?
All they've ever really wanted is whatever you have...
