I thought about doing an Arab army for fantasy, but the only figures I know are old Citadel mercenaries, which are extremly hard to get and expensive. Does anyone know any medieval Arab figures?

Join the Imperial Guard. The pay's lousy, the battles fierce and you probably won't ever come back again. BUT you get a lasgun.

You could always use some of the Harad miniatures from the Lord of the Rings line.

Those are a bit smaller than WHFB in scale, though, aren't they? I know they certainly used to be and it doesn't seem likely that they would change the scale of the minis mid-production.
Hmmm... Thinking about it further, I suppose if the whole army was comprised of LotR models, the scale shouldn't really be a problem. Up against other armies, like Chaos or Tomb kings, the more slender scale might even look more realistic...

Sadly, LOTR figures are a lot smaller than normal 28 mm or 32 mm figures. They are actually smaller than dwarves. But thanks anyway.

I'm fairly sure there not.... I have never played WHFB, but i had some Dwarfs from the starter set, and they weren't taller than LOTR models...

Crocodile games is releasing a Mycenaean army for the wargods of Olympus line. The preview photos are on the company blog, they should be out any time now.

Poor orks... Why can't they be the good guys for once?

Perry Brothers have been mentioned. They make a wonderful line of Crusades era Arabs. The figs are smaller - in line with Lord of the Rings from GW.
http://www.musketeer-miniatures.com/ Also well sculpted and a bit larger than the Perry Brothers.
http://www.grippingbeast.com/shop.php Armies of Islam and El Cid
http://www.miniaturedesignstudio.co.uk/index.asp Berbers, cheap and well sculpted but smaller and limited in figure choice.
http://www.artizandesigns.com/ Moors
http://www.crusaderminiatures.com/ El Cid. Inexpensive but I find their sculpts repetitive.
Old Glory and http://www.magistermilitum.com/ both have cheap figs - you might want to see these before purchasing.
http://www.castawayarts.com.au/index.php Has a line of colonial arabs with rifles.

There's a totally inappropriate joke in there somewhere...

Take care when ordering from Black Tree - they have a history of not delivering although I believe the North American office has been getting better lately.
