Ok I was playin against this necron player and I got hit by his deciever and I was gonna take my inv sve because I assumed it would be like a monsterous creature

but he told me I can have any saves against him

And I went to look in the codex and I don't see anything that says I can't take saves, it doesn't say what kinda attacks the deciever deals so I should be able to take normal armour save

Am I missing a page or something because I can't find it anywhere that says I can't take armour or inv saves against it.

There is a page BEFORE the Deciever and Nightbringer that contains general C'Tan rules.
Under Monstrous Creature it states that no invo saves are take due to them be able to change their form

now that is annoying very annoying, I guess I have to try kill it before it kills me

it killed two of my GK termis, not very happy then it killed the other 3 because of his stupid exploding rule which I guess is on the same page correct?

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

yeah, just shoot them to death.

C'tan are tough in CC and will ignore all your saves.

they arn't immune to ID, so your Force Weapons can work. get a Lvl3 Libby in there and cast hammerhand, Might of Titan, and Quickining then have the squad pop the C'tan.

but only do this as a last resort. shooting is far less dangerous.

On the brightside for you however, you can probably expect some serious changes to the necrons by year's end. But yeah, what Grey Templar said, avoid CC, and if the nightbringer is out, try to stay more than 24" away as he does have a pretty powerful ranged weapon (I think it's S9 AP2 Assault(?))

Gods? There are no gods. Merely existences, obstacles to overcome.
