From the soul of a newly sacrificed Red Shirt: To ensure that all players are using the very best paints and modeling supplies, GW will soon be rolling out portable Laser Induced Breakdown Spectrophotometers to make sure that everyone in store is using GW minis, with GW glue, layered with GW primer, and GW paints.
All players who are found to have used inferior third party products will be told to leave the store, strip their minis, then apply the correct product to their purchased miniatures.
As inferior paints and glues will chip and snap it is for the general good of the community that GW stores insist upon products which never fail.
Roll out of the new LIBS instruments will be mid July.

That seems a little far fetched for me, the policy seems like a dictatorship and spectrographs are way too finicky for that kind of thing.

Well this is just silly. LIBS requires the use of a computer... and it's already well established that GW does everything with block and chisel - and they don't hire third party firms.
