The game was annihilation, troops are as follows:
Orks: Weirdboy -warphead
5 lootas
5 burnas
7 stormboyz w/ Boss zagstruck
two squads of around 20 boys i believe one with 2x Big Shootas
1x Killa Kan
1x Killa Kan

Nids: Hive Tyrant- Preferred enemy upgrade
3x Warriors
30x Hormagaunts w/ adrenal glands
20x Genestealers

Nids go first, Orks fail to seize initiative Stormboyz are held in reserve to deep strike.

Turn 1: Gaunts run up the field followed by the warriors. The Genestealers move up with the Hive tyrant behind them.
Orks- Boyz and Killa Kan fire into the giant genestealer squad killing 4. Lootas shoot, however are obscured by boyz so we agredd it was a 4+ cover save. Kill none if i remember.

Turn 2: Nids move up again, Gaunts assault one group of boyz with the warphead attached to it, they lose combat and run 12" back towards the warriors. The gaunts and 'Stealers move up the right and charge the squad of boyz, Burnas, and the Killa Kan Killing ALL of them.
(We're scared of these things) Killa Kan shoots and misses all, Weirdboy rolls 2 on his table and kills off a gaunt.

Turn 3: Both Gaunts squads were at around 2 models each, so the nids player decides it would be hilarious to just charge the killa kan. The Killa Kan then rolls a to wound. The Stealers and remaining gaunts charge the lootas and slaughter them. The weirdboy rolls for his psychic table and rolls a which the ork player then retried and rolled a killing it and 2 boyz.

Turn: 4: The squad of boyz picked off the last two gaunts in the squad and the Hive tyrant wrecked the last Killa Kan, making that last gaunt survive. The Ork player deep struck the Stormboyz near the warriors and assaulted killing two, but losing 3.

Turn 5: Genestealers charge the stormboyz and kill them, Hive Tyrant charges the final squad of boyz and runs them off.

Final Score: Orks -2
Nids- 7

First Battle report, dont think it was too ty

You forgot the part where the orks player offered his ass to the Nids players so he can just do him there and get it over with

It seems that tons of 'nid players here run lists that are well over the allotted point value.

Other than the warphead killing himself and the unit, how do you generally like using it?

guilty of occasionally messing up calculations in army points for casual games

Everyone messes up calculations in friendly games, at least every now and then : D

My bud Dakota(the ork player) plays a Warphead quite a lot, he seems to like it. However he's had horrible luck with it, the last few times he's used it it blew up.

Speaking of messing up calculations...one time me and my brother were playing a game, and it was the day before a tournament for 1,500 points. But for some reason my brother had decided that we were going to play 2,000 points..without telling me.

It's a functional Battle Report, but if you want to improve them then I have a couple suggestions:

1) Take notes when you're playing. I find that I forget the exact details a lot so it's good to have some notes written down while you're waiting for your opponent to move his units or something.

2) Take some pictures. This has a few advantages. First, it makes it easier to imagine what's happening. Second, we get to see how your armies look and the table you're playing on. Third, it helps you to remember what happened, especially if you didn't take notes.

Again, it's not exactly a bad battle report, but it could do with some flair to take it to the next level.

Thanks for the advice!
I actually did take notes but i left em at my friends house : / For the picture taking I would like to try that once we get most of our armies painted, I doubt people like seeing gray unfortunately.
