What if certain WoC, the Norsemen for instance(since they are farthest from the favor of the Chaos gods), turned to one of the gods for salvation. IE: Under attack from slanneshi forces, raids, kidnappings, etc. So, they turn to Khorne, promising to shed blood in return. Khorne backs, them, all goes well, decapitated slanneshi scum everywhere. And say Khorne decides to "gift" with extra appendages, strength, etc. Could the tribes people deny the gifts or pray that they don't come or something, or is it going to happen whether they like it or not?

i assume if they did krone would feel insulted, bringing other tribes or some other form of vengeance upon them. it would be safer to just thank krone and move on.

The gods don't ask for anything, you just wake up in the morning and somthing feels different.

If you tribe hates you,then you go out find followers and start your own warband.

Actually I say alot of Norse have done this.

I think if you wanted to really deny a gift ... the chaos gods would turn you into a spawn out of gleeful spite.
