i still have 168 pts left and i was thinkin on what to spend them on you see i chose this list cause i love to rhino rush my stuff and i'm a mech player who loves assulat and shooty so i made this list now i know the downside is no invul so its easy to kill but i was thinkin tht maybe if i get into assulat asap they won't get a chance to shoot i mean lots of str 5 int 6 power weps attacks should cause some damage if used right and if i don't use hammerhand i can always use my flame power but suggestions?

Only a suggestion but what about losing 2 rhino's and use a stormraven to transport 2 squads. Would add some more fire power and get your purifiers into an assault quicker.

Why take incinerators on the purifiers?

How are you expecting to deal with tanks?

How are you expecting to deal with fast enemy that out range you?

Dump all the incinerators, get 2 sycannons into each unit and then take some long ranged AT support, ideally DReads with 2 twin-linked auotcannons and Psybolt ammo (Venerable if you can afford it).

i thought bout takin a chibihawk but i thought to myself points and cost irl :/
live on small income most of mystuff is second hand or converted so i went with a cheap effective army

and i will do tht but bout the psycannons thanks and the riffleman dread i was thinkin bout actually

I'd take another psycannon in each unit I'd probably then dump the hammers they aren't needed drop it down to 5 squads and get some Dreads they have the rnage to support your main thrust. Getting 4 S8 twinlinked shots each the Dreads really help deal with light to medium mech.

You have nothing that can shoot further than 24". This is a huge disadvantage that you need to rectify or your list will have no covering fire on approach.

*ahem* on a more helpful note... if you are going to only have 6 man squads MIGHT I suggest instead of rhinos, putting your guys in razorbacks and getting your ranged support out of em through upgrading them for anti-tank support?? the machine spirit will guide your shots true and allow your men to cover the distance well still. This will eat up your left over points and any points you still have can be spent on making small upgrades to the rhinos.

You mentioned you were on a budget, modifying rhinos into razorbacks are easy, the dreads will cost more $$ unfortunately >.<

for each dread you could make you can turn 3 rhinos into effective anti-tank razorbacks with lascannons.

Just an alternative for your money conserving needs.

I think some combination would work best. 2-3 Psyfleman Dreads and 3-5 units in Razorbacks or Rhinos (or a combination) would give you a good fire base and a mobile gun line capable of decent assault power. Just make sure each unit has a Hammer and 2 Psycannons, and that each model that doesn't have a Hammer or a Psycannon has a Halberd.
