I've put a lot of thought in starting an army different from my current IG one (Foot list), and finally settled on Dark Eldar.

Archon
Venom blade, haywire grenades

Warrior squad (5)
Blaster
Venom, 2 Splinter cannons

Wych squad (5)
Hydra gauntlets
Raider

Reaver Jetbikes (3)
Heat lance

Ravager
3 Dark Lance

I based this list around the upcoming DE battleforce, with the addition of Ravager and a Venom.
Is this list strong enough to defeat other 500p lists?
Are two scoring units enough at this size, or should I get more/larger squads by dropping stuff?

If you're building from a battleforce you're slightly limited. First thing I'd point out is hydra gauntlets are basically slightly less effective than +1 Wych, and cost the same. I'd drop the gauntlets and take either +1 Wych or use the saved points to get some flickerfields on either the Ravager or Raider.

In more general thoughts - I'd personally save points by going with a Haemy instead of an Archon, I'd get an Agoniser into the Wych squad to make up for that loss of h2h impact, and I'd drop the bikes and field an additional Heavy or troop selection.
