This is by nio means a detailed report of the tournament, as I was organising rather than playing.
22 players, all with painted armies. Another friend got some more pictures so I'll post a link of his gallery when they're up.
Turquoise Drop Pod Marines: CHECK. Turquoise Shirt: Check. Winning in style: CHECK
I was made for loving you Baby! Slaansh Daemon Prince
" Do gretchins get furious charge? "
No army list, eh? We'll fix that!
Anything but a 1!
Obviously this isn't a 1... Yess!
Theme games:
McDonalds vs Wendy's ( Howling Griffons, Imperial Fists )
Wendy's came out on top.
Twilight Edition ( Space Wolves vs Blood Angels )
This was dubbed the Amazing Race. Top 2 competitors after game 1, BA Razorback Spam vs Orks.
The deployement zone was the opposite corner from where all the BA tanks are on the picture. The ones hugging the edge there, they're still in play, not in reserve.
At game 3: 2 of the top leading generals ( Imperial Fists, Black Legion )
The Crimson Fist Massacre
In the end, Imperial fists won the tournament by ending the Ork massacre streak.

I'm both orderly and rational. I value control, information, and order. I love structure and hierarchy, and will actively use whatever power or knowledge I have to maintain it. At best, I am lawful and insightful; at worst, I am bureaucratic and tyrannical.
