I second this. As it stands, he's upwards of 230pts IMHO. I'd also be hesistant about the CSM's having a Khornate Champion superior to Kharn.

You also seem to fail to mention the effects of Death Strike, Blessing' (I assume that's the same as Kharn's though) and Death Strike, unless that's just me being dense...

I don't have Codex: Chaos Daemons however...

Nonetheless, this guy still has all of the advantages of being an independent character, which doesn't exactly warrant 150pts IMHO. I'd seriously recommend upwards of 230pts.

Sorry love, that's not how this works. Skulltaker works in Daemons. This guy is for CSM. Criticism is criticism, this guy's flawed. Get over it, or don't post it here.

Skulltaker on a Juggernaut is 25 more points, has less WS, lower str, isn't an independent character, and doesn't have a shooting attack. How is this comparable to Skulltaker at all?

Way undercosted.

I would say 250 or so for this guy.

Skulltaker on a Juggernaut is 25 more points, which I concede I can raise this character to. He is an Independent Character, has no shooting, but rends/ID on a 4+. Has less WS, the same strength when charging.

Skulltaker on a Jugg is not an IC. Does not have a "re-roll successful to wound rolls."

Here's the thing: check your character against some others.

Marneus Calgar: +75 points
-2 WS, +1 BS, +3 S, -1T, +1W, -4I, (-1 or even) A, Even LD, +1 inv save
Does not get a 2+ save vs. psychic powers, does not get to move into btb with ICs, does not get to have successful wounds re-rolled, does not have rending, does not have furious charge, does get to re-roll failed to wound rolls (on his 2+ wounds... hooray!), gets army wide "auto fail/succeed"

Logan Grimnar: +100 points
-2 WS, even BS, even or +3S, -1T, Even W, -4 or even I, Even A, Even LD, +1 armor and invul, -3 save vs. psychics
Does not get to move into btb with ICs, does not get to have successful wounds re-rolled, does not have rending, does not have furious charge, can potentially re-roll failed misses, has stubborn, has counter attack.

I'm sorry dude, but your guy needs to be in the 250 range.

Um? I wrote him up. He is not for CSM. You have yet to post anything useful. Really, anything. The other poster's feedback has been more relevant.

If this guy is for daemons, he should have rules consistent with daemons.

For starters, he should have the Daemon special rule and not Eternal Warrior. He also shouldn't have Power Weapons as those are not listed anywhere in the daemon codex as something daemons use; instead they use Hellblades. Yes, it's semantic, but the way you wrote him up did not make him a daemon. We'd have to assume he was a CSM since he isn't a daemon and he's chaos.

Duelist doesn't belong on any kind of character or model in 40k. Some ICs would never want to fight a guy one on one, why does your guy force them to make that choice even if they don't want to? It should only be a limitation on your guy, not mind-control over someone else.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

Skulltaker is an IC. Taking a Juggernaut modifies the profile as such: "+1 S, +1 T, +1 W, +1 A, and the Iron Hide gift"

You are thinking of Chariots.

I am thinking of Chariots, my bad.

Much better IMHO. The successful to-wound thing might be a bit too much, but it's still a vast improvement.
