So....how'd everybody do? I ended up 5th in Morningstar Games in Savannah....fun day, but a long drive from Atlanta.beat dark elves with 3 hydras,go massacred by warriors (enfeebling foe, curse of the leper combo'd) and squeezed past a dwarf gun line. Not the best day for vampires, but not the worst

I played in Virginia, against a Teclis net list, Demons with Kairos and a bunch of sirens songs, and then Skaven with biiiig units. I was using my skaven, almost tabled the high elves (2700 vp's) he only killed four things three were Rares >.< damn cannon misfire came to a draw, major victory off the demons and Skaven. Got something like 7600 VP's, still got 6th.

I played at the Game Shoppe in Omaha. I took a council of light Empire list. I drew against an Archaon led WoC in round 1 (I did cannon snipe Archaon ), massacred a WoC player in round 2 that had a a three big blocks + war shrine list, and massacred Tomb Kings round 3. Took first place - dark elves and dwarfs took second and third.

wow, Dwarves were around a bit werent they, compared to rund one where I dont think there was many. For us, there was 3 WoC armies, with just warriors, chosen, warshrines and Valkia must have worked cause it went
1st: WoC Chosen/Valkia/Warshrine
2nd: High Elves (Arch Mage w/ book I think)
3rd: WoC Chosen/Valkia/Warshrine
4th: Dark Elves
5th: Vampire Counts Grave Guard, Loremasters (me)

GMI Games (SoCal)
1st- Lee Horn w quad hydra delivery system Dark Elves
2nd- Matt MacLean w Kairos and friends
3rd- Mike Kelly w Keeper led Nurgle and Bloodletter spam
I ran a middle of the road lizardman list and got my poop pushed in from game two onward. Most ridiculously abusive list in the room was a guy who put 2 slaan, 3 priests and 160 skinks in the folding fortress. Lee's list was pretty damn rough, too, since all he did was hide all of his points while 4 hydras and a reverse stubborn peg lord ran around gang raping units, but it wasn't outright abusing game mechanics, just balls hard. Good mix of armies there, actually, with every army represented except for Beasts and woodies.

Empire Games - AZ
1st - Warriors of Chaos
2nd - Daemons of Chaos
3rd - High Elves
5 battle points separated 1st and 5th, so it was a really close tourney.

What did Valkia bring to those two WoC lists? I'm surprised at that inclusion (and how well it did), I haven't seen it...

Hi
Anyone know what happened at the lone Canadian location? Attendance and winners?
I qualified but real-life responsibilities kept me from attending.
Cheers,

Don't know about Canada, but I believe several guys from the Montreal area played at the semi in Massachusetts. I skipped it, but I know top two were:
1. Daemons of Chaos (Matt Cassidy of Cold Steel Mercs and Lost Legion, also Bragging Rights podcast battle reports on Youtube).
2. Empire (one of the aforementioned Canadian crew; heard he was very good).
