To provide more detail on the news story on the dakkadakka home page, we are pleased to be able to confirm that the KR facility in the US will open for business in late May 2011.

KR USA will offer the same products and service that our customers are used to from the UK facilities, but the time taken for delivery will be much shorter as the orders will not need to be shipped over the Atlantic. In addition gamers will benefit from a reduction in the US$ pricing across the KR product range.

KR USA will be offer the same product range of the KR card cases, the Kaiser system, aluminium cases (including the new ones as below), the Aquilla and the accessories too.

For retailers there will be a significant reduction in restock time as we will be able to support our US distributor (Warpath Games) with a shorter lead time on manufacture and delivery of products, and in turn they will be able to support the US retailers of the KR product range with a faster delivery time too. The KR website will be updated shortly with the new retailers of KR products, and if you are interested in stocking KR then contact us via the website or direct to Warpath Games..

The range of cases and trays available from KR will increase over the next few months with new product releases, and they will be available from both the UK and the US factories.

For the first time too, KR will be at GENCON on the 4th-7th August in Indianapolis with our full range of cases, trays and accessories. Be sure to come and visit our stand, we will have some unbeatable deals available on our cases. More Gencon news will follow later.

We are pleased to announce the launch of 2 great new cases, the 800 and the Prestige.

If you are one of the first to own either case you can take advantage of the fantastic launch offer on these 2 cases where for each case purchased you can select an additional card KR Multicase absolutely FREE – and can choose whichever trays you would like in your FREE case - even custom cut trays – saving you up to £29.99! This offer only runs until the 19th June so don’t miss out (UK purchasers only).

The 800 can, as its name suggests, can carry eight hundred 28mm troops, though just like the rest of the KR range can carry a mixture of troops and vehicles by using the modular tray system. It follows on from the successful 1200 case, and is able to carry 4 card KR Multicases as well as a range of accessories, rulebooks and a tournament tray too.

For the 800 the internal compartments for the cases are split into 2 sections, where 2 standard card KR Multicases fit in each one. This means you can easily get to any particular card case inside - no need to remove a whole stack of foam to get to the bottom tray with a case from KR! And of course with the card cases being easy to label you will always be able to select exactly the troops or vehicles you need.

The Prestige case is designed for your large models like the Thunderhawk and titans etc. The first variant available is for the Thunderhawk and features a typical engineered KR tray to support the model for transport. The Thunderhawk is supported at its fuselage to avoid the feet needing to carry all the load, as well as having a top pad with support to prevent movement too. Only soft foam can achieve this as it does not damage the model or scuff the paint. There is additional room in the case for further vehicles too (18 in rhinos in this instance, though you can pick from our large range of custom trays to suit your army)

Both cases have 2 additional internal compartments, one for 2 KR accessory cases, and the second for holding rule books, codex and armylists. The compartment also contains the tournament tray, which is included with each of these cases (and available separately as a KR accessory too), so that when you are gaming you have the perfect arrangement for getting your armies to a venue safely, and for getting your figures moved around the gaming tables too.

They both feature integrated wheels, a telescopic handle plus additional top and side grab handles, as well as combination locks. When not being used to transport your army it can stand in your gaming room as an easily accessible and functional storage system too. You can stack on top of the case too with no harm to the miniatures inside.

KR Multicase - the complete storage and transport system – soft foam for figures, hard cases for soft foam!
