My orks vs my friend's tyranids, my first game in half a year
500 Point Battle - Annihilation - Pitched Battle
4 x 4 no terrain except primary bridge raised about 1 inch on sides.
Lava is strength 5 no AP, automatic glancing hit on vehicles.
(Upgrades not included, sorry everyone!)

Deployment:
Orks Form line with Killa Kans in front of the main bridge. Deff Dread takes position to the left side of the line. Big Mek joins boyz squad and forms a long squad behind the kan wall. 1 Deff kopta on each side of the army.
Tyranids place warrior prime with three warriors on their side between bridge B and the main bridge.
Infiltrate/Scout
Genestealers appear infiltrate behind the volcano located by bridge A.
Deff koptas scout move towards bridge B, gaining LoS/range of Prime/warriors

Tyranids fail to seize initiative

Skorcha kan moves onto main bridge
Rokkit kan moves onto main bridge huddling the left side

Grotzooka kan shoots and scatters away, hitting nothing
Skorcha kan runs forward 3 inches on the main bridge
Rokkit kan runs forward 2 inches following skorcha kan
Boyz squad runs 5 inches to maintain squad coherence within 6 inches of vehicles

Prime/warriors shoot at skorcha kan, inflicting 1 glancing hit which does nothing
Genestealers run 1 inch towards bridge A
Prime/warriors assault skorcha kan, blocking main bridge.
CC results: Immobilize skorcha kan, kan misses all attacks
Turn 2: Orks
Deff dread takes position on bridge A
Rokkit Kan moves within assault range of close combat
Boyz hold position/maintain KFF contact
Grotzooka kan continues moving towards bridge B
Deff koptas fly over lava and gain range of gene stealers
Deff dread uses both skorchas on gene stealers killing 3
Deff koptas shoot at gene stealers, 1 hit, no wounds

CC results:Warriors/prime cause no damage to immobilize skorcha kan, kans kill 1 more warrior (forget fearless rule again)
Turn 3: Orks
Deff dread moves towards gene stealers
Boyz all break towards main bridge
Deff koptas move slightly perpendicular to gene stealers
Grotzooka kan moves across bridge B
Deff dread uses double skorcha on genestealers, kills 2 gene stealer
Deff koptas shoot at gene stealers, killing 1 gene stealer
Grotzooka attempts to shoot gene stealers, just out of range

CC results: Skorcha kan and rokkit can take no damage from warrior and warrior prime, kans kill 1 warrior
Turn 3: Tyranids
Mycetic spore arrives from reserve, landing behind boys. Scatters into lava, no damage to mycetic spore. Gaunts arrive from spore.
Genestealers move toward deff koptas
Genestealers run 1 inch toward close combat on main bridge
Gaunts shoot at boys squad, 36 shots killing 9 boyz
Mycetic spore shoots at deff dread rear armor, causing 1 glancing hit removing 1 skorcha

CC results: Kans take no further damage, warrior prime killed

Boyz with big mek run towards table edge, 2 inches from edge
Rokkit kan moves back to ork side of bridge
Deffdread approaches mycetic spore opposite side of gaunts
Deff koptas move away several inches from gene stealers
Grotzooka kan moves towards gene stealers
Deff dread skorches mycetic spore hitting an additional 10 gaunts, no damage to spore. Kills 8 gaunts.
Rokkit kan shoots at gaunts, misses
Deff koptas both shoot at gene stealers, killing both
Grotzooka runs towards main bridge
Deffdread engages mycetic spore in close combat
Deffdread attacks and destroys mycetic spore
Turn 4: Tyranids
Gaunts move towards retreating boyz squad/big mek
Gaunts take 9 shots at boys, killing 2 boyz
Turn 5: Orks
Boyz squad/big mek run off table edge
Rokkit kan moves towards gaunts within CC range
Deffdread moves onto bridge A (scared of lava)
Deff koptas move to tyranid end of bridge
Grotzooka kan moves towards bridge B
Deff koptas shoot at gaunts killing both

Tyranids were expecting many boyz to be played, not expecting the kans nor deff dread. Without any significant penetrating attacks, kans and deff dread took over the field. Genestealers gained no opportunity to engage ork troops, getting caught by deff dread.
