Anyone that read my last post on my grey knight army will know that I messed up and made it crap. This army list if for 1500pts and consists of 33 models and will focus on a huge charge at the enemy. It envolves almost no deepstriking...

I would put the purifiers and the purgation squad in the stormraven and feild the intercepters and the strike squads with the inquisitor the standard 12". the stormraven would charge up with the strike squad marching across the board from cover to cover and the interceptors would use their teleport jump to egt beside or behind any enemy vehicles and blow them to bits with their psycannons. Any remaining vehicles will be shot at by the multi melta on the stormraven and it will unload its troops into battle where-ever it is nessacery...

this list is a little comfusing.

1) Why psylencers on the strike squads. They are terrible weapons. They are Heavy, so you can not move and shoot, and they are only S4. They are just not worth it. Keep the Storm Bolter and the Sword.

Best setup for a strike squad is 10 people with 2x Psycannons in Rhinos.


2) The storm Raven, You said you were going to put 2 units into it. You can put one unit of up to 12 people (including chacaters) and a dreadnought in it. You can not put two infantry units in it


3) If you want a fast, in your face army, you can make a shunt punch list.

HQ-grand master (gives people scout)

Fast- interceptors (uses the shout for firt turn attack)

Heavy- Dreadknight (telporter and flamer, usues scout for first turn attack)


You can then take Coteaz and henchmen as troops. Coteaz keeps people some seizing the initiative as much and helps you seize it more. Henchmen are cheap and have a lot of ranged attacks that can help on the first turn as well.

Ah, i didn't know that you couldn't put seperate units in, oops. as for the psilencers i chose them cause they are free but i suppose if i am taking psybolt ammo i would be better with just stormbolters. I think i will put the Purifiers in the storm raven and take them grand master and cut costs somewhere else. maybe only take 1 squad of intercepters?

The reason that Psycannons are good, is that they let your squads take on vehicles. If they will just be shooting infantry then the Psybolt Storm bolters are okay.

The scout rule specifically says that "The scout move must be normal movement." Thus shunt can't be used as a scout move. Sorry to say.

This is still a debated topic.

Bikes can Tuboboost in the scout phase which is "not a normal move" to some people.


Wait for the FAQ, it could go either way right now. I am in the camp that you will be able to shunt in the scout phase.

You can still first turn assault without it however. (in some cases)
