the actuale story will be better puctuated and at the moment ive got a lot on my plate ie reading a fanfic, eating, making a cardboard life size plasma gun, WRITING a fanfic and blowing spiders to bits with a airsoft gun (trust me these are som huge spiders and i have terrible aracnophobia

I would make the Marines carry fewer weapons...
Bolter, Bolt Pistol, combat knife and some grenades are a standard load out.
They don't tend to use shotgusns unless they are scouts.
Autoguns aren't something a marine would use, they aren't really used in the Guard either.
The Devastator marine needs to cut down on his load-out...
1 Heavy weapon at the most and a bolt/plasma pistol as backup.

I try to stay out of cross-overs so i can't help on the story so much.
I will try to help on the terms and descriptions however.

btw
the frigate is carrying a lot of the weapons so thats just a list of the weapons they'll be using in the first few chapters.
your right on the fact though that it would be impossible for Demosthenes to carry all those in one go to carry all those in on go BUT your forgetting the armory onboard the frigate.

Marines can hunt with knives, they are fast enough and strong enough to bring down most things with just a knife. Anything bigger would require a bolter.

The Warp isn't clean anywhere. The entirety of the Immaterium is a tainted nightmare of hell and raw emotion.
As they are Raptors it would be appropriate for the flashbacks to be of either Xenos or fighting the Astral Claws during the Badab Wars... at least i think they fought in those wars...

il just say that the planet has some sort of gellar field core of is all those ddemon kings are each an aspect of a certain part of the warp or tzeentch is keeping it shielded as part of the "great game" or somthi-wait a second..."great GAME?!" holy crud every 40k player is tzeentch!

You could make it so there are Necron pylons on the planets surface. They hold back the Warp entirely so it would give you a reason for the crash and it would explain the lack of Warp.

Or you could just not have magic...
Any magicians or psykers have to overcome their lost powers and fight through it...
They could be an underdog compared to the others...
Also try to pick up a spell checker so you can correct any errors.

Just so you know i have a sneaky feeling that Star Trek ships are incredibly out classed as are their gound troops.
Halo ships are large enough and powerful enough to be of use against 40k ships especially given the Covenant's technology and Humanities tactics.
40k ships are massive and incredibly powerful, they have crews in the thousands and undoubtedly beat both forces in terms of ground troops.

btw expect the fisrt chapter to be up in a within half an hour

yeah i agree with you on all points there.

the general idea is to have a small raptors task force get launched into the star trek galaxy (for all intents and purposes they are different galaxy's) and the master chiefs ship along with a few covenant ships dragged out of theirs.
strange cults spring up around the trek galaxy, preaching of the coming of the "many armed savior"at the same time starfleet ships are disappearing and are being found adrift again marked with the symbol of an eight pointed star...

so frigate or strike cruiser?

4 Survived on Reach 2 later died and the others lived and became the instructors to a new generation of Spartans that weren't active until after Halo 3.
1 Survived a space mission with Chief but was badly wounded and was placed in Stasis on the Autumn, she was later revived but kidnapped by Hallsey on the return to Earth.
1 had his death faked and was put in charge of the suicidal Spartan III program... he later died after the training planet was attacked, however several other Spartans survived, Hallesy and the other Spartan showed up later to help. They all ended up in some kind of an N space portal...
