Because GW is now too expensive, i'm turning to KoW (since Warhmahordes doesn't interest me one bit) but I don't have anyone to game with. Nobody i've talked to seems interested in starting KoW and there's only 1 other person who plays it, which would get boring very quickly.
Are there any KoW players in the Manchester area? Preferably reachable by train or bus due to me lacking transport of my own.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Clash of Kings recently took place in Stockport. I'm pretty sure that there are players in and around Manchester as well .
The best place to find a game or some players would be on the official Mantic forums @ http://forum.manticblog.com/forum.php
Good luck finding a game Automatically Appended Next Post: I also think there is a pathfinder tournament taking place in Stockport in the next few months and tickets went on sale a few days ago

I am gutted that I am working (again!!) over the Stockport comp on June 8th....... I wish I could find tournaments on Mondays. I am always free Mondays when the rest of the world is working away!...Maybe I should start the first ‘Monday Day Gaming club’ and see if there are indeed other gamers which work when everybody else plays.
Loving the look of the hole KoW thing. For some reason Mantic makes me and feel like a kid again (i am 31) but it does seem that it is hard to find those that play regularly. I know if I persist I will find a pocket of resistance somewhere but that could cost me a serious case of the ‘hobbies’
viva la resistance!...........sorry...thinking aloud.

Feel free to ask on the Mantic forum:

“Good people are quick to help others in need, without hesitation or requiring proof the need is genuine. The wicked will believe they are fighting for good, but when others are in need they’ll be reluctant to help, withholding compassion until they see proof of that need. And yet Evil is quick to condemn, vilify and attack. For Evil, proof isn’t needed to bring harm, only hatred and a belief in the cause.” |
