QFT.
Being that Vulkan gives Mastercrafted Thunder Hammers, you definitely want at least one squad of
TH/
SS Assault Terminators in there. If you take both squads of Legion of the Damned, and find about 30 points from somewhere else, that should be enough for 1 squad of Terminators, and a Land Raider with Extra Armor and a
MM.
Separate the Land Speeder Squadrons into 3 units (not sure if you intended to do that from the start, but if you did, good job!) Reason being is so that you don't have to dedicate all your firepower from the 3
LS's to one single target. Ideally, you should be moving each one 12" to get the most out of your range, so don't worry about getting to shoot both weapons because in most cases you won't be.
The Sternguard are overly equipped with Melta weapons. I'd take out the 2 Meltaguns and replace those with Combi-Flamers instead, and maybe even swap another Combi-melta for the Combi-flamer. More people tend to play Mech armies, which is why it's good to have more Melta weapons, but even against an occasional horde army, the Combi-Flamers will come in very handy. I also suggest getting these guys a Rhino instead of a Drop Pod. Once you've killed a target with these guys, you want them on the move as quick as possible to the next high priority target. Foot slogging them isn't the best way to do it, especially since they're not ideal to have in
CC.
As for your Tactical Squads, I'd consider changing one Meltagun to a Flamer as well. One less Meltagun will be far less noticeable in this list, but trust me when the time comes for that Flamer to shine, you'll be grateful you had it. I would also give your Tact Sgt's Power Weapons of some kind, instead of the Combi-weapon. Being your Scoring Units, you want them as survivable and versatile in
CC when necesary. It'll probably put you over your point limit (assuming it's 1850), if you play around with the list and see what works better or worse, learn what other options you have to make it more efficient.
Good luck!
