as said above what unit do you think is currently the msot compettitive in the tyranid codex, strongest, this is in synergy with current army lists. So please dont judge in a vacume, and based on points obviously.

Tervigon, in synergy with the rest of a list the Tervigon is a very strong unit.

My vote definitely goes to the Tervigon. If you build a list with them as your core, they become very deadly.

I would advise Nid players to keep it at a safe range from Termagant squads though, because I've seen what can happen when those squads suffer the 3D6 hits when the Tervigon goes down. It can be pretty nasty, especially if the squad is already locked in combat.

yea same here, i too voted for the tervigon, i think its easily the strongest unit because of its explosive capabilities.

Tervigons are a huge force multiplier, with their Psychic powers, and the massive boost they provide to nearby Termagaunts, and spawning of course.

Second place goes to the Swarmlord.

Yea i too agree with all the statements above.

The Tervigon is also a monstrous creature, which is always good.

Move through cover.
Power weapons in melee.
2D6 strength for armour penetration against vehicles.

It is also a Synapse creature and has Shadow In The Warp.
The Stinger salvo is a useful weapon against infantry and light armour.

The base cost is surprisingly reasonable when you look at all the benefits, though naturally most players add a number of upgrades.
