Sheffield Irregulars, in association with Baccus 6mm and Patriot Games, are proud to announce Irregular Miniature Paintfest 2011.

Sunday July 17th, 10am-4pm
Free admission

Having been based at Patriot Games for the last two years, we're moving to a bigger and better venue - The Workstation, an easy five minute walk from the train station, and only ten minutes from the bus station.

As with previous years, the main attraction (in our view) will be the third Golden IMP Awards, along with our infamous Speed Painting challenge - sponsored, this year, by West Wind Productions. The current category details are listed on the website, and the range of options is set to increase.

In our ongoing quest to build a better show, we're introducing participation and demo games, as well as traders and two tournaments. So, if you fancy picking up some of the Studio McVey from the man himself, for example, this will be your chance.

We'll be continuing to update the site as more items are confirmed, so please check back. In the meantime, feel free to ask any questions here, and I'll be more than happy to answer them.

Will have to check this out seeing as it's less than a 10 minute walk from my house.

Will the group be meeting at the Workstation instead of Patriot now too?

The group will still be meeting at Patriot, Bastion, but as we outgrew it as a venue for IMP last year, we thought we'd get a more appropriate venue this year.

Evening all,

Just a quick update to let you know that we've been able to confirm two seminars/Q&A sessions that we'll be running on the day. One will be with the Polemos Design Team, who have put together the various historical rules supported by Baccus, which the other will be with everyone's favourite Italian games designer, Alessio Calvatore. We're hoping to run one more, but that's still awaiting confirmation at this time.

Sounds good. I might come, depends if I'm on holiday at the time though. If I'm not, I'll make sure that I get a ticket.
