I'm messing around with my Wraithguard to include Prince Yriel in the list. He's not a Wraith construct or a Psyker, but he still fits the Iyanden fluff - so I think it's ok to include him. I've decided to try and go for three squads on foot. My logic for including wraithlords was to assist the wraithguard in close combat if the needed it. I feel that Yriel somewhat fufills this role, and has the added safety of being in a unit where he can't be shot. This has obviously cost me some points, so i've come up with two new 1750 lists: Option 1 10 x Wraithguard, w/Spiritseer, Singing Spear, Conceal (Troops) 10 x Wraithguard, w/Spiritseer, Singing Spear, Conceal (Troops) 8 x Wraithguard, w/Spiritseer, Singing Spear, Conceal (Elites) Eldrad Yriel Wraithlord w/Bright Lance + Eldar Missile Launcher Wraithlord w/Wraithsword Total - 1747 Points The other list I created is similar. Option 2 10 x Wraithguard, w/Spiritseer, Singing Spear, Conceal (Troops) 10 x Wraithguard, w/Spiritseer, Singing Spear, Conceal (Troops) 10 x Wraithguard, w/Spiritseer, Singing Spear, Conceal (Troops) Eldrad Yriel Wraithlord w/Bright Lance + Eldar Missile Launcher Total - 1717 Points I'm losing 30 points, but I couldn't find another permutation that would match up. I've lost another wraithlord, but i've made my third foot slogging unit scoring as well, which I think reduces a big problem that this army has. So what's the verdict? Coments welcome!
