So after all of the recent huge changes that GW is making to the way they work, I decided to recently put their return policy to the test.

In the past, people have reported getting entirely new models when just one piece is defective. My thought was that this was WAY too nice and charitable for the GW we have been getting to know in the last couple months.

So when I opened a new Tau Devilfish I got recently, to find a part of both the engines were defective, I took that opportunity to see for myself. Well, about 1 week later, I got this in the mail:

Yeah, they gave me 4 engines. So no, they don't send you a whole new one (at least with Vehicles), but they do still overachieve.

This happens sometimes. Sometimes they send parts of a kit, sometimes they have you send in your kit and send a new one, and sometimes they send a whole new kit. It all depends how nice the customer service guy on the phone is.

Yeah, one incident really isn't sufficient to discern a pattern...

But still at least they do something about defective goods!!! It's always massively annoying when you have bought something that doesn't do what it's supposed to and then get fobbed off when trying to return it!

On moon miranda.

I think it depends on the kit, what they have in stock, and who is on the phone. For one of my Baneblades I had a pretty messed up sprue, so they replaced it, but didn't send a whole new kit. When I need a couple plastic clear Eldar vehicle canopies...they sent me two whole Falcons.

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.

New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.

Damn.

I dunno, you folks are probably right. I just didn't get quite as lucky as other people.

I thought that getting just the sprue in the mail was significant, but I guess it's just a random thing...

Sorry about making such a useless thread everyone!
