just playing around with ideas for a school league army and I thought this would be fun if nothing else. I doubt that its strongly competitive but I've taken a liking to small 600pts games and I might do this one for fun, away from tornys

so, any way, here's what I have:

HQ

big meck with a KFF and boss pole 90

deff dread w/ 4 CC weapons 105

12 ork boyz 72

heavy support:

3 kans with zookers 135

so its stompy, shooty and choppy. if this ork list is wrong then damn it I don’t want to be right

at any rate what do you guys think? do you think it has potential or is my inner meck just taking over...again

1. What are the 2 boss poles for?
2. Only 1 unit capable of claiming objectives?
3. Said unit being 12 boyz strong?
4. 2 KFF to cover 3 kans & 2 Dread?

I am going to say that the list needs a little work.. But if you want to play a bit of fun, throw in a SAG in place of KFF and see what happens.

1: cos dey are da boss's. dats why (i.e I dont know :3)

4: they do indeed. heck even one does. but what if sum sneeky git kills one of them. yeah, then whos laughing

I think your right, the list needs touching up. its more for fun than anything majour. I agree than a shock attack gun is a good way to go. adds a bit more killyness to the army

If you put your Mek in the squad of boyz he is relatively safe. If he ends up dying in there well, you lost anyways so there is really no harm done

Point is, you've got 19 models on the board, as an ork horde.....

Hazard30: yeah, my plan was to sit a mek with some boyz on my home OBJ and let the kans do the rest (ie, sitting on objs, killing thinks on objs etc)

nah man, if this is a for fun list. DO IT!

it looks hilarious, you could easily split off your dreads with 1 mek, and kans with another. Think of the chaos!

besides...who WANTS to move 70+ models every turn for a small point game

You can get away with one mek and add more boyz. You can also switch out two CC weapons for flamers to give you some extra points and be just as effective. Even at 1500 points you don't need 2 KFF for a kan wall.

Yeah, take one mek, swap out 2 cc weapons on each Deff Dred (Replace them with skorchas) pump up the unit of boyz as much as you can, and it'll be awesome fun.

I definitly would not pack enough AT for that at 600 points, it should surprise everyone.

I think you guys are right with me not needind 2 meks, considdering he's worth 15 boyz though 2 CC weapons on the dreads are needed. I think I'll go 1 skorcha and 1 CC weapon for now and see how it plays

Unbeliever actually has a pretty nice little list there. Buncha boyz, but still enough Stomp to make players think twice. Still not as awesome as a 600 point Dred Bash, though.

Turns out I have to have 2 big meks but I can still remove thr KFF from one of them. So far I now have about 26 boys as opposed to 12 I'll post the new list in a bit

What's the ammo runt for? KFF replaces slugga/shoota, so a KFF Mek has no ranged capabilities, so no ammo runt needed?

1 dread = ~15 shoota boyz....... shootier... or switch them to sluggas and throw a PK in the mix, certainly as choppy and most definitely harder to take down than a deffdread.

yeah, ok but whats a kan wall with no kans hmmmm and also, 15 shooter boyz may be shootyer but they arent stompyer or killyer. Also S4 can kill a boy but won't scratch a dread

I think the point of this army has been missed. The idea was for mass kan spam not a horde of boyz.

Anyway, here's a quickly thrown together list as I have no codex on my person at the moment

Oh. So there's FOC restrictions that you failed to mention in the OP.

I have no idea why you would ever take a naked Big Mek, they cost you 6 boys and give you literally nothing in return.

Naked big mek is being used to allow the deffdread as troop choice. I'd stick a SAG on it for giggles, since winning isn't really important to the OP.
