How many do you need?
There are some quite similar pylons in the old battle for macragge starter set. You might be able to pick up a used copy on ebay possibly?
I think it had about 4-5 pylons in the box.

Hmm, maybe these coudl work:
Basically i am startign work on a Chaos Doomday Device. The plan is to use FW Rogue Psyker model with soem sort of power collector or capacitor next to him (that what the pylons woudl be for) to collect his psykic power and channel in nasty destrucitve goodness.
i would probably link the Psyker to the pylong using guitar wire to make it look like he was tied down and doing it against his will.

1.) Battle of Macragge and the ones from the 5th post are small man-sized electrical devices.
2.) The original posted item is an electrical fence about 3-4 times that size, about the same size as the Quantum Gothic model, which is a perfect substitute and the only one I currently recall.

They'd work, and what's more you could make it look like a science experiment since each of those scanners has a kind of 'output' where you can have a kneeling Guardsman checking the data.
The Generator and Pylon set was indeed a good one and I'm still irked they stopped production on it. I had plans for them, dangnabbit!

I have ordered the rogue pzyker kit and have a lead on 4 of the pylons from the battle for macragge set. Thet should work. Think i will have the psyker on a 60mm base with whole thing based on a cd.

If you can get a small, clear bottle--you could do something cool with a the fully painted psyker 'suspended' in water effects.

You need to go to the Quantum Library. No idea why they obscured the fact they sell this stuff. Also, although it is very nice, it's also kinda spendy; $30USD or £18.00 crazy british money for the pylon kit in question. But nice, though.
edit: oops, that's what I get for opening tabs and then taking 3 hours to reply to them, someone already replied

I was actually thinking about trying that. Never used the water effects stuff before though. I was plannign on having the psyker in some sort of containment cell (most like will end up using a clear plastic cup. I suppose if i glued and sealed all round the bottom edge it would hold the water effect stuff. Maybe pin the psyker model off the base so it looks like it is floating a little.
Has anyone used the water effect stuff before? Does it dry clear or is it coloured? If it is clear coudl you add some wash or ink to colour it is you wanted? I was think that it wouldn't be plain old water so i could tinit it green or something. How long does the stuff take to dry? I found a product with Modelzone but it says it should only be poured 3mm deep. Any help very welcome.
