Did a quick search and I wasn't able to really find a answer to my question...
I have read the base rules about only getting cover if the LOS is being blocked by at least 50%. This is the rule that has me wondering...
'If a special rule or a piece of wargear confers to a vehicle the ability of being obscured even in the open, this is a +4 cover save, unless specified otherwise in the Codex.'
Camo Netting gives the Vehicle Stealth, Stealth gives +1 cover save. I understand that there are things like the Ork Warbike rule and KFF. But since the vehicle now has Stealth via a piece of wargear, does it still have to follow the 50% obscured rule to be given cover? The place I play at uses felt for woods and the like. Can I park a vehicle in the 'woods' to give it a cover save via the camo netting?

If the vehicle has a cover save, it it made one better by stealth.
It sill has to follow all of the normal rules for cover to get that cover save first.

The camo netting gives it a +1 cover save at all times as per the stealth rule. If the vehicle is obscured the 4+ save is improved to 3+. If the vehicle is in the open it recieves a 6+ cover save.

Not at all correct. In the open you dont have a "7+" cover save
A stealth *anything* in the open has NO save.

nosferatu1001 is spot on.
I'll just add the reference, p. 5 of GW Rule Book FAQ 1.2. Look on the right side column about midway down (5th question in that column).
And if you used the vehicle's smoke launchers AND it did not move that turn, your camo net would give the vehicle a 3+ cover save in your opponent's next shooting phase.

You might be thinking of the GK power "the shrouding", which gives units Stealth OR a 5+ cover save

Maybe, I'm thinking its something to do with the old edition stealth rules or something to do with assassins, ive made it my goal to find out what I was thinking about because I'm thinking it may be an important rule I have forgotten.

I believe you were thinking about "going to ground". Automatically Appended Next Post: I.E going to ground with Marbo would allow for a 5++ in the open.
6++ for "going to ground" and +1 for his stealth ability.

So the camo netting does nothing for you unless you happen to be getting a cover save already? Frankly that does seem alittle counter intuitive... Since a vehicle wouldn't get a cover save for being in 'woods' normally you would think with camo netting you would get something, specially with the added limitation of not being able to move.
And no, I don't believe it would give you any cover in the open... that is not an issue here since Stealth does nothing for you in the open.
Again, those rules apply unless a special ability or a piece of wargear says otherwise... this is a piece of wargear, granting a special ability. This should overcome the 50% LOS rule easily, but I am not getting a consensus or definite answers.
I honestly think a vehicle with camo netting should get a 3+ cover save in woods, as long as it doesn't move.

I agree with cover save in the woods w/ camo. But once the thing moves, it is lost for the turn.
But alas, the rules say it doesn't happen.
