This list is all over the place.
With tyranids you will generally want most of your stuff to stay tight and together. You can achieve this in a few simple ways.
1) Take creatures that all move at the same speed. (tervigon, tyrannofex, carnifex, trygon (not deepstriking), gaunts, hive guard, raveners warriors etc) most of these are infantry speed and will be able to soak up enemy fire or provide cover to other units to get close to the enemy as that is our ultimate goal.
2) pick creatures that can stay in reserve and come onto the table close to the enemy (outflanking genestealers, ymargls, deepstriking hive tyrants, trygons, mawlocs, devourer gaunts in spores, zoanthropes in spores, and troops outflanking from hive commander) the goal here is to be in your opponents face and make him unable to choose targets. For this list a hive commander tyrant is almost required
3) Pick creatures that are fast or infiltrate (infiltrating genestealers, gargoyles, winged tyrants, shrikes, etc) these get closer to the enemy by sheer speed.
You have to pick one of these things for your army and make sure everything has a purpose in your list. Also make sure to remember the tyranid golden rule which is take the important things in pairs.
P.S. The first one is probably the easiest and best way to run tyranids as you can give yourself cover, keep a strong synaptic web, be durable and have reliable anti tank.
