Subject: Dreadknight, a 'radical' idea

So I've been thinking about Dreadknights.
I don't like the model for all the usual reasons. If it was presented as some sort of construction mech jerry rigged for combat I'd be all over it but as is it just looks dumb, and not in a good way.
Plus the rules that make it a model with wounds despite being made of steel just irk me.
So I was thinking...
One big fluff change in Codex Grey Knights is that the GKs are now apparently radicals with no quams about using Chaos against itself.
So would something like this work as a DK?
(not my work, it's by Catpeeler and it is awesome)
I would add tons of chains and purity seals and maybe a GK or Inquisitor leading it on a leash but I think it would look great.
Thoughts?

That looks aweomse...
Put some manacles on it with a few of the ole 'mysterious runes' so it looks vaguely controlled and you're good to go.

I think it would be awesome for a "pure" Inquisitor army, that's the main reason I'm not planning to field rifleman Dreads but with something as awesome as that (and with a somewhat reasonable fluff reason) I would.

Also you should totally paint the accompanying GKs in blood streaked armour to show their special anti-Chaos protective coat of innocent blood.

What an utterly brilliant idea. I've just got visions of this daemon prince straining against massive manacles and chains covered in arcane runes. Perhaps restrained by a couple of chanting acolytes with liber daemonicas.
In fact anyone seen the Doctor Who episode The Satan Pit? Pretty much like that.
@Hido - Could you not use some heavily modified armoured Sentinels as inquisitorial psyfleman? Or even a penitent engine? If it looked cool and you'd got a bit of fluff I'd expect people would allow it.

Doesn't make sense for Grey Knights, but sadly makes sense for Mat Ward's Codex.
Still I prefer these solutions:

@Kroothawk, I love both of those models but the whole 'I'm made of metal but have wounds' thing still bugs me.

Nobody understands, why Mat Ward made this walker a monstrous creature or the Grey Knights celebrating a Blood Ritual with the blood of their comrades. Still no need to screw your Grey Knight army big time because of his shortcoming. But of course it is an interesting exercise to examine the consequences of Mat's silly ideas.

He made it a Monstrous Creature to make it distinct from a Dreadnought, and the fluff with the blood isn't as crazy as people make out, within the setting that it's in.
On the actual topic, I like the idea, although I think it works better in an Inquisition-led army than as something that the Grey Knights would use on their own behalf.
