I wish I had a list of things but here's the one thing that has a daily purpose and a 40k purpose!
Large and normal blast markers as coasters.
They fit well, look cool and could be a conversation starter(?!)

Anyone else find uses of 40k stuff besides playing games?

The laser pointers they make for line of site, we use ours as a cat toy.

My b/f uses citadel glue to glue his split fingers together (he's a sparky, it's the only way he can seal the cuts)

Last night I saw citadel paint being used as stage make up at looked fantastic.

Snips are decent enough nail clippers if your nails are screwed enough already.

My toddler keeps jacking my whippy sticks and flamer templates as chewtoys

Ah yes I forgot about the measuring sticks, I use them a lot to make my players respect my authority while I'm DMing.
