Who of the Primarchs should have survived
I mean in the way of what they could have done for
the IoM or Chaos Gods.

I ofcourse vote for Sanguinius, but what do you think

I agree, as said in my Original Post.
He was every good thing the Primarchs had in them combined.
Except the book-writing part. He was more busy defending the Emperor then writing a best-seller book

I would have liked Ferrus Manus to survive...
Or, at least have a less undignified death...

None. The less we have to see of them the better. I mean, just have a look at them, these days they are written in the same Mary Sue ( with the possible exception of Bowden's Lorgar, who actualy had *gasp* some serious weaknesses ) bs way like most fluff about the Emperor of Mankind has become.

I think theyre all going to be back sooner or later, but I think the one primarch that shouldnt of died would be the Night Haunter.. I always wonder what would of happened if someone would of killed the Assassin before she got him. What would Night Haunter of done then lol

Well some of them cannot come back on account of them having a serious case of being dead.

No one stopped the assassin because he ordered them not to. Kurze was completly insane and spent his last days switching between wanting vindication then killing slaves and eating their flesh. If M'shen hadn't have killed him then he would still have found some way to try and martyr himself. He hated his brothers, his legion, his father and most of all himself, he really had nothing to live for by the end.

What? Have you read the HH series? The Emperor's being portrayed in it as an arrogant, but incredibly powerful being with some serious flaws.

The Primarch's themselves are also portrayed as having flaws:
- Fulgrim - Pride and perfection.
- Magnus - Arrogance and over-confidence.
- Pertuabo - Conceit, immaturity and spite.
- Leman Russ - Apparent lack of own morals; a weapon.

the list goes on...

"It is the great irony of the Legiones Astartes: engineered to kill to achieve a victory of peace that they can then be no part of."
- Roboute Guilliman

"As I recall, your face was tortured. Imagine that - the Master of the Wolves, his ferocity twisted into grief. And yet you still carried out your duty. You always did what was asked of you. So loyal. So tenacious. Truly you were the attack dog of the Emperor. You took no pleasure in what you did. I knew that then, and I know it now. But all things change, my brother. I'm not the same as I was, and you're... well, let us not mention where you are now."

As for primarchs All hail Sanguinius.

well going by what the OP poster said there is only 5 we can choose from. really 4 b/c is there really anyone who wants Ferrus Manus back? :p
Mine choice would either be Rogal Dorn or Sanguinius.
Though not an option from the OP poster I would like to see some of those Primarchs who "disappeared" come back. I just think its kinda lame how every living loyal primarch is either asleep or lost in either the weebaway or the eye of terror. perhaps GW is planning on having some make a triumphant return?

I will...never be a memory

Dorn was a great leader, who knows what he could have accomplished if he'd survived?

Breaking OP's rule, I'd suggest Vulkan, since Graham Mcneil's account of the Isstvan V massacre had him blown the up by a titan shell. Assuming he just used that to rocket-jump to safety, his boys are working on figuring out where he went, so who knows?

But didn't he side with Dorn after the Heresy? So... doesn't that mean he went missing sometime after? Vulkan's missing status has always confused me...

This. Imagine what Dorn, the Primarch who built the Imperial Palace and it's defences, could do to Cadia's defences.

Besides, with the Black Templars and their numbers he'd still effectively have a Legion, without having a Legion!

For thirteen years I had a dog with fur the darkest black. For thirteen years he was my friend, oh how I want him back.

they are actually still loyal.

they hate all the other traitors with a vengence.

they aso hate the space puppies as they came in and shed all over their couch.

Magnus has Arhiman searching for a cure for their curse. he is also looking for a way to defeat Tzeench and destroy him. Tzeench actually thinks its a great idea, its new.

they are ultimatly loyal to humanity and the Emperor's vision.
