Hey guys,

So with a new IG player in our gaming group, I figured I'd put away my 5th Ed. Codex and pull out some FW lists. My favorite one is still the Servants of Slaughter from Imperial Armour 6: Siege of Vraks Part II, so I figured I'd put some work into making the models needed for that list. I also needed a personal project to let me work on some new techniques and do something for myself.
My first finished model is an Exalted Champion of Khorne, armed with Lightning Claw and Combi-Melta. I know, not the best armament, but it let me do some extra scratchbuilding.

I'll be doing a tutorial on my blog for combi-weapons in the next couple of days, so keep an eye on my blog!

This project let me practice my greenstuff work a little bit, as well as play with some new painting techniques, namely shading by mixing Complimentary colors.
I'm hoping to work on a Zerker Squad next, as well as a Beastman Blood Herd (Orks in the guard? OK!), assuming my CLGS still has a box.
C&C is always appreciated!

Granesh

I really like this conversion you have here. Nicely painted and very "victory is mine". Good work.

Very nice indeed, I think he looks great. I Do like my Khorne Figures to have Bunny ears though but this guy is great.

Love what youve done with the Combi weapon.
