I have noticed that there is a Combi-Melta and a Combi-Plasma in the Commander box, but no Combi-Flamer, so how could I make one?

Use a storm bolter, file off one half of the barrel & add the barrel from the flamer in the tac squad box, along with the little fuel tank along one side?

Or you couls take the combi-melta and just replace the melta barrel with the flamer one if you don't mind chopping it up.

Been a bit since I've bought one but...

The chaos space marine rhinos come with a combiflamer for their pintle mounted stormbolter. It's actually just a half of the stormbolter allowing you the choise to either make a stormbolter or combiflamer. Just ask any csm players for the bit or ebay the bit and glue it onto a regular marine bolter.

Are you absolutely set on making one or would you be okay with buying a bits pack from Forge World that has one?

If the latter is fine: you want this pack.


Basically: you get three more 'techy' armys for bionics. You get a combi flamer, a unique looking head for a commander, a combat knife, 5 'old' style bolt pistols, an 'old' style plasma pistol, a unique looking powerfist, a gorgeous power sword, and what amounts to a resin copy of the Iron Hands bionic leg.

That will be a lot easier than converting one, thanks
