Anyone know where qualifiers will be, say.... within a 300 mile radius of Jackson TN. 2 of the closest shops that have hosted in the past aren't going to this year and there are 4 of us that want to find a place to play. I know it is a little early but I kinda need to be planning now in order to get off from work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

It seems like many stores decided not to run Fantasy Ard Boyz and reading this makes me wonder if the same will happen with 40k. Why are stores not running these events?

Should be a master list coming out soon.

Fantasy doesnt bring in nearly as many players so thats why (I imagine) some stores dont bother running it

40k qualifiers will likely be "any store which can bring in warm bodies and sells GW products".. just like every year.. Some stores get 3 people and some get 40

we are hosting. But its all the way in Atlanta so I don't know if you want to drive that far

Thanks for the offer Sgt Horse! Right now it looks like we won't be able to leave until like 7pm CST the Friday before and the 6 hour drive to ATL is just a little bit much right now but I will keep it in mind if we don't find something any closer.

Haha no prob. If it helps, we usually host ard Boyz on Sundays, so then you'd only need Monday off hope you find a place

Nerdvana not doing it this year? I went to Gamerz Depot in Memphis last year. Hope they're doing it again this year.

James is selling the shop and I doubt it will happen there this time. I didn't know Gamerz Depot was going to host. If they are, do you happen to know how many players they can handle?

There was 16 last year I think. It was on the same day as the Memphis bunker reopening or there would have been more. Sucks that you're losing your game store. Is someone buying it or is it just up for sale?

He's selling to a local guy but I doubt he will host any events for a while. The deal is suppose to go down in 6 weeks and James refuses to host anything since he's selling. I wish the CCG was back open! Maybe it won't be too long before he resumes business!!!

A big part of the problem was that the intial date they posted for Ardy Boyz was the saturday of GenCon Indy. They have pushed it back now but that has thrown some poeple off a bit.

Gamerz Depot in Memphis is doing Ard Boyz. I will be there. Look for the handsome fella playing Black Templars.

Hobbytown USA in Petaluma CA is hosting too.

we usually get about 8-10 people.

Seems they missed some stores. Gamer's Realm in NJ has Ardboys on their schedule but they aren't listed.

Heh, are they sure they are really holding it? Seems that GW's list might be the definitive one.

I went to Gamers Realm for the Fantasy one. Will have to call them later.

Yeah, it is strange. Portland had more for the fantasy one, I believe. Who knows?

I checked with Castle Perilous and they told me they wouldn't take pre-registration until they found out how many locals were planning to play first.

The Gamerz Depot isn't on the GW list..

I played at the semis last year at Game Zone Alpha and plan to play there again this year if I make it through the prelims. It was an awesome place and I look forward to coming back again!

I hope GW posts the missions soon so I can decide which army to play....lol, having 4 armies can be a pain sometimes!

2500 is what you should have, no more no less.

How late do you think day 1 would go till?
I have a 10km race to run at 9pm that day, but don't want to miss out :(

Its a single day; however, to figure out what time it ends you'll need to check with the host store as it depends wholly on them.
