Does a stormraven have to be "flying" mounted on its base, or can it be on the table using the landing gear provided?

Must be mounted on the base it comes with. The only time you are allowed to take it off the base is when it is wrecked or immobilized.

I don't understand this comment.
The stand is part of a flying base. If you are not using the vertical part of a skimmer's base, you are not using the base provided.
