I am trying to glue together needlepoint grid (granny grid) as part of grid work on my terrain, Anyone know what works best gluing this stuff down or to other plastic pieces.

I have tried
Super Glue - to brittle and the grid is too flexible and breaks apart very easy
Plastic Glue - Seams to not adhere to the the grid

Was thinking of buying a hot glue gun and using it but don't have allot of experiences using hot glue or if it even works. Really don't want to use white glue either because when I used it on other terrain pieces it didn't seem to hold up very well.

did you sand it down first? I've not personally used it but heard it doesnt like being used. Once sanded it should have plenty of surface to adhere with (also, sanding the other side will give it a better texture to work with when painting i)

glue gun won-t improve chances.

It doesn't matter how bloody far the apple falls from the tree. If the apple fell off of a Granny Smith, that apple is going to grow into a Granny bloody Smith. The only difference is whether that apple grows in the shade of the tree it fell from.

I have no idea but when I tried PVA/white/elmers it kind of worked but the material soaked up all the glue and I got covered in it tryin to push the piece down into place.

Use an epoxy adhesive, and key the material - scuff it up, cut little nicks in it, anything to give the glue something to grip to. Obviously, key it where you're gluing and it won't be seen.

You'll also need to scrub it before use - it's often coated in all sorts of gunk. Then sand lightly before priming and all should be well.
