Here are the models I have.
Could you Daemon experts tell me if I could run something in the 1000 point category that is semi-competitive/fun?
I can't afford to purchase any more models.
Thanks!

You can run a list similar to what you just posted and it won't be great, but you can still have fun with it. The only real problem is the 5 model strong seeker squad. You need to have 10 or so to make it useful or they are going to get chewed up. Try running the exact list you have below, but split the fiends into 2 units of 5. Since the army is really squishy you'll have to probably drop on the weakest enemy flank and pray you don't get chewed up by whatever shooting they have. Try this setup.

HQ: Tzeentch herald on chariot with bolt and master of sorcery. 100 pts.
Elite: 5x Fiends, 1 with might. 160 pts.
Elite: 5x Fiends, 1 with might. 160 pts.
Troops: 10x Pink Horrors, 1 w/ bolt. 180 pts.
Troops: 10x Bloodletters. 170 pts.
Troops: 10x Daemonettes. 140 pts.
Fast Attack: 5x Seekers. 85 pts.
Total: 995

Subcrazy pretty much hit it there.

Split the fiends into two groups of 5, and also do the same with your horrors I'd say.

The rest is perfectly fine to have a fun game with.

okay, split the fiends into 3 units of 3, this means good coverage and they'll do some serious damage

split the horror squad into 2 groups of 5, give them both bolt and one the Changling

10 Daemonettes and Bloodletters just evaporate the second they hit the floor, trust me. You need at least 15-16 to ensure they reach the target and do worthwhile damage.

5 seekers CAN be useful, but 5 is too few. With the points the 10th seeker is, grab acouple more.

Thanks everyone for the honest feedback.
This is my wife's army, just trying to get her something fun to play as she learns the game.

10 Daemonettes may get chewed up by fire more often that not, but 10 bloodletters is fine. 3 Fiends is too small a unit. If you think 10 bloodletters is going to get chewed up then why tell him that 3 Fiends is a good idea? The letters and fiends have the same defensive stat line so therefore 3 fiends (since they have 2 wounds) is the same amount of wounds as 6 Bloodletters making it almost twice as squishy as 10 bloodletters. IMO 10 bloodletters is fine and try not to run fiends in a unit smaller than 5.

Ive had serious issues with letter squads of 10. I prefer to run them in units of 14+. As for the fiends, I run them in packs of 4 which has been working fine so far.

Also, you may want to consier I am legion on the Tzerald. That way youll be able to glance and bolt the same turn at different targets.
