So I went over to Armandloft's for my first games of Warmachine. I had picked up the Khador box in MkI and never played. As I drove over I was second guessing my choice, thinking about how I wish I had more tools, more mobility, I wanted Cryx.

Now that I've played I'm downright amazed at what I can destroy with just a hammer.

I could go and get more tools.. the screwdriver that is Widowmakers, the socket set that are Pikemen. But what I really want? An even bigger hammer.

This game rocks.

Well I'm glad you liked it.

If you want a bigger axe you might need to switch castesr. pShorsha can't really handle more than 2 jacks.

If you get a 3rd look for the Kodiak, chain attack (then throw) is great.

DukeRustfield - There's nothing wrong with beer and pretzels. I'm pretty sure they are the most important members of the food group.

Since he's already got Sorscha why not Beast? I say he's about the biggest hammer that Khador can get.

pButcher can do it too. I think "The Butcher" in general is right on the money.

I know this is the standard advice but, I think my next step is to proxy in both Butchers and Karchev and see how I like the game. I have purchased the MkII deck as a second purchase.

Thanks for the help so far. I'll let you know how it goes. I was having great luck with Sorcha so I'm a little reluctant to change it up, but a bigger hammer beckons.

Beast 09 Is a fantastic hammer, and has a ton of synergy with sorcha. I suggest you proxy him for a couple games, you will not be disappointed

VTRC - I'm planning on doing some Karchev proxying fairly soon as well - let me know what sort of results you get and I'll try the same. I'm very curious to see how the big guy plays! Any ideas for a Karchev army list yet?
