Ex nihilo

The first list is a modified deepstrike themed army. If I get first turn, I'll take it. If not, I'll still take it because everything goes into reserve.
This works because the opponent's entire turn one and two is spent with literally nothing, then I get a turn 2 shooting phase. 3 turns to go until game over.
Lots of genestealers means a bad time, and the objectives on my side get held by devgants, a tervigon + gravy, and a swarmlord. Good Luck, bring your dakka.

The second list is less subtle, and more of a hammer to the face. 20 Plaino Genestealers infiltrating in a line gives a 4+ cover save to the 39 Toxic Genestealers behind them. 60 of the best combat troops in the game, re-rolling wounds and 18" away. Broodlords engage special chars and try and nullify them, and failing that, bleed acidic blood all over their faces. There is no God. As if this weren't bad enough, the venomthrope give everything defensive grenades and dangerous terrain.
Tyranid prime walks in the group of Devgants, providing synapse to the Homogaunts as well until their speed makes them peel out of range, but it should be too late to matter by then. Tervigon comes too, with the harpies coming behind and using 36" twin linked S9 shots to shoot at tanks. Really even stunning them is bad, because then all the Stealers autohit, or the Hormos autohit with grenades granted by the venomthropes. Anything that has survived the early stealer pressure is very, very tired at this point. Assaults by 4 MCs and autodeath boneswords will ruin any tanks/walkers left alive, as well as any remaining morale.

C&C welcome, though I am very well aware that this list gets clowned by heavy mech. Meh, the local meta focuses more on troops, and this list eats those.

Edit:

Which do you prefer, on both sides?
If you were me, which would you take?
If You were You (Easy one!) which would you prefer to fight?
More than that, why?

Can't go wrong with Genestealers, so I'd go for list 2.

They're just an elites choice, not unique. I can have up to three broods of 5-10.

Taking a Hive Tyrant just scares me after having mine blown up first turn by mindstrike missiles, not much you can do about instant perils of the warp when hit.

I pick the First list.

Two packs of Ymgarls will pretty much get to hit two or three enemy units when they show up. However, at 2500, and you're smart so you'll plan for it, watch that enemy doesn't saturate/deny target Area Terrain where the Ymgirls will pop up.

... and the Swarmlord buff for Turn Two to start off really hot.

I'd like to hear how you fair, particularly against Matt Ward's latest abominations.

I wouldn't want to come up against that second list. That many genestealers is ridiculously scary, and doesn't rely on potentially ruinous reserve rolls. Even with the bonus it's possible to roll lots of ones and come in piecemeal. That said, it's still a good list, it just doesn't terrify me the way the second one does.

The first one takes the cake for me, and you might even have enough hitting power with the trygons to down AV targets, and even though you have way more stealers in the first list, the second still packs a punch, so first list it is(for me).
