hello great elders of dakka dakka, here i am with a wierd idea and want to know if it is legal...

i want to make a chaos nurgle army, using modded ork models, cuz well i love orks and love nurgle, so that makes me a orkle or nurork fan who knows.

this da deal,

boyz as plaguebearers
gretchins as nurglings
killa kans as soulgrinders
warboss as epide-guy dont remember the full name
and big mek as the plaguefather.

offcourse, totally greenstuffed and with dangling guts and stuff.

the simple idea of organic and putrid killa kans traces a grin over mah face

You shouldn't have any problems provided everything is clearly modeled.

Fluff wise it would be 'legal', as the Deamonhunter codex told of a group of Orks being corrupted by Nurgle, as they thought they were worshipping Mork or Gork.

As to rules wise, it is legal as long as wargear is consitant and units are all explained beforehand.

thats a cool idea but there are really big size issues.

A soulgrinder is roughly the size of a land raider and like 50% higher. A killkan is smaller than dreadnought. If you're opponent's fine with this then its all mellow but generally around my store, when we proxy, we proxy with similar sized things since there could be unfair advantages.
Same goes for the big mek. Being that GUO is a monstrous creature, cover save is determined by TLOS and subsequently, model size.
Just 2 similar issues that may come up during gameplay.

thanks for all the info, will keep the size issue in mind, maybe i will have to add some extras to make them size equivalent, or fuse two kans, one being the feets of the grinder and the other the upperbody

thats quite a good name, but lets just leave them as the putrid waagh!! my friends would make a lot of mocking with a name like norks X3.

i was reading the codex and looking at pictures, and daemon princes are more size equivalent to killa kans or deff dreads, maybe i can convert them, making a couple of lucky orks FUSE with the boils and pustules of the dread into three half ramshackle half putrid prince.

i cant hold exitement, i already started some of the plaguebearers and taking in consideration my poor scuplting skills, they are turning quite acceptable. good thing i got a chaos predator to loot and have a lots of spare chaotic bitz to use

Well you should post some pics when you get around to it. This is shaping up to be an interesting article.

Fork Gork, that is quite an amazing ehm stompa right? more like a ROLLA i would say, now that looks like a good soul grinder, but i will be making daemon princes, i face the biggest challenge with the GUOs, maybe a deff dread for the GUO with a AoBR warboss upper body in the top, with lots of greenstuff fusing him with the a biotechnologik dread, and some bigass sword i have to use.

but everything is better said than done, the good side is, i will practice a lot of sculpting with this project

And yes is a supper shame i cant be able of face any of the amazing armies posted in this forum, only the "as written in the book" ones my friends play here
