So it is SPAM but it keeps with the idea of a small but powerful footslogging list that i wanted. 10 psycannons, 6 Twin Linked Autocannons, 3 hammers, 15 Halbreds.

I am pretty set on the footslogging, dreads, purifiers and the Hq's. There is some flex i was hoping to have the Dakka community help me with. I would be ok with dropping the techmarine or change his loadout for something else, change the librarian powers or the incinerators. Would you keep the elites and librarian as is or change them around?

I would definitely suggest changing those elite choices. I do see why you went the way you did, but I think you are paying far too much for some pretty gimmicky stuff. I think you would do well to drop those two for a Venerable Dakka Dread and the 2 incinerators made into psycannons. Extra points could be used for a few servos from the libby to mess with scouts/infiltrators, or to give him a warding staff (which makes him much harder to deal with in hth, which is his weakness.

I kept the sword to give him a better all around invulnerable and the price of the staff is a little offsetting. Went with the vindicare and the techpriest for long range killing. You think the Ven would make more points back then these two ?

I'd support the ven dread idea - in this points level - there will be plenty of anti-armour. They will target your dreads. an extra venerable will give you some survivability.

I see you are big on foot slogging, just watch out for people getting around you quickly - you may end up responding to their movements rather than playing your own game due to your slow movement. Other than that looks good!

I'd lose the tech marine for sure.

Drop the techmarine and get some rhinos for your purifiers. Otherwise it is pretty good

The sword only increases his invulnerable in close combat as well, so the sword gives you a 4++ in CC, the staff gives him a 2++ in CC. Since he will singled out in CC every time by a smart opponent, and gives such huge buffs to the army, the investment in his protection can be worth it.

While I love the vindicaire, he is very vulnerable to many common weapons, such as Autocannons and Krak Missiles, which can outrange him and simultaneously leave him relying on making 3+ cover saves to stave off death. Further, at his price tag, he would have to take down at least 1 very expensive vehicle to "make his points back".
The Ven, on the other hand, while even pricier, is far more resilient, especially with a librarian to give him the shrouding. You end up with 4 dreadnoughts instead of 3, and lastly increase your volume of fire substantially (from 1 small blast and 1 shot, to 4 TL shots) Which will help you against enemies like Eldar (both light and dark) and blood angels, who will have a huge advantage in maneuverability AND numbers.

I guess in the end its a preference thing, but I certainly feel those two are out of place, and a ven dread is the best option you can afford (honestly, I would prefer another purifier squad, but you can't afford that).

I guess its pretty popular opinion to drop the assassin and the priest and invest in Venerable Dread with TL Autocannons. Kinda boring to have pretty much the same unit 4 times but hard to deny the benefit of that much S8 shooting.

Can you take more then one assassin? I cant seem to find anywhere in the book saying that you cant take 1 of each type. Maybe i drop the techmarine and go with 2 assassins?

svendrex-no interest in putting guys in transports. I already play a mech blood angel list and want this to be footslogging.

Beside the ven dread does anyone have any more suggestions to replace the Assassin and the Techmarine? Maybe something different or a bit fun? I was thinking maybe servo skulls and a new weapon for the libby and a new unit

Only other thing that I would consider a useful alternative would be an interceptor squad. However, that is very pricey and just adds a few more 3+ save guys. Honestly, With having 3 of the 5 FOC areas filled up and unchangeable, you really are limiting the options, which is why I suggested a Ven dread (normally I dislike Ven Dreads).

Personally, I didn't want to discourage you, but I think going with purifiers in a foot slogging GK list isn't the best choice. You are literally planning on just marching 30 power armoured guys up the field. I can't see that being competitive enough to win no matter what your elite slot looks like. If you went with Strike Squads instead, dropping Crowe, you could have twice as many guys on the field. Not as good in CC, but much better in shooting and twice as survivable.

You could get a Dreadknight with a personal teleport... then shunt into enemy deployment zone - this would then allow your foot sloggers some distraction for two turns whilst you walk up (gets you at least to the middle of the board.

You can go naked or with an incinerator - I'd recommend the incinerator. Just a matter of points - this would be very fun!
