Hey there.

If I have, for example, 3 Vendettas [which all have a TC of 10, yes?] Can I load each one up with a different squad, so long as the vendettas and squads all move in the same direction?

Also, can 3 vendettas multi-transport an IG blobsquad?

I'm not really getting your first sentence...

If a unit can't fit into a transport, it may not enter it at all, so no 30 man blob in 3 vendettas. You may also only ever put one unit into one transport, so you can't have two units in one transport. If transport vehicles are bought as a squadron, they would still have to stay together, even if transporting different units(usually only happens in apoc).

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.

If the 3 vendettas are part of a single squadron, then no matter if they carry a unit or not they must obey the Squadron coherency rules.

However, you CANNOT embark a unit into a vehicle which has less capacity than the size of the unit - see the basic rules. So, if you want a blob squad theyre either walking, or you're playing apocalypse / IA8 elysian drop squads.

To answer your first question: yes, you can load three different squads into three different Valkyries (side note, I thought vendettas didn't have transport capacity, only valks. I could easily be wrong though).

You CANNOT load one unit into three different valks though.

So if you had three 10 man squads (as separate units), each one could get into a separate valk, even if all the valks are a squadron.

As nos mentioned elysians: Three Elysian Valkyrie Skytalon Transports may transport drop sentinel or taurus squads as long as they stay in coherency, but this is only due to their skylift special rule. As far as I know this is the only exception of this kind in the game so far.

I just used valks as an example, they sempt to me the only situation that that would happen.

PxDn - Vendettas do have transport capacity. its one of the reasons they are grossly undercosted.

So, they can run 24", splurge out a squad and let it melta a tank first turn? Re-fething-diculous.

Aren't they like... 360 points for 3?

390pts, but who's counting?

Otherwise, yes. I've used my Vendettas quite successfully as suicide transports; move Flat Out with the Scout move, move another 6" during first turn movement and drop off a meltavet unit to nuke a tank of choice while shooting all three lascannons into something crunchy. It can get pricy, but more often than not the strike will get its points back with interest.
