Just want to confirm something...i think i'm right but you never know.


A Combi Bolter is a normal bolter with a one shot special attached.

If i upgrade a TL Bolter to combi bolter, after the special has fired, am i left with a TL bolter, or a normal bolter? I think it's normal bolter but you never know.

You unfortunately do not upgrade a weapon.

You replace it with another one. Your twin-linked bolter effectively becomes a normal bolter with a 1 shot round of it's combi part.

You are left with a normal bolter.

YEs, this means you have a nice mix of twin linked and non-TL shots to keep track of in a typical Chaos Termi squad
