I was just wondering because it says in the BRB that all dice roll on the vehicle damage chart count as wounds for pourpose's of deciding who won the combat, but also thier is a funny line in the ThunderHammer rules that says any vehicle with no I value count any roll on the damge chart as a crew shaken. I was just wondering what peoples feelings on this would be.

Walkers have an I value, so are not affected by the rule.

And the roll on the damage chart is only used for pourpose of determining the combat winner so would not effect the ThunderHmmaer rule right ?

Correct. You don't cause any actual wounds, so the dread is not reduced to I1.

I think you shake it since it is a vehicle, but that has no effect on the combat(since it was not a roll on the damage chart, but an additional effect).

You don't shake it either. It says vehicles with no I gets a shaken result, since it has I it is not shaken.

Yes, and the person above me stated the opposite of what you said, so I corrected him.

that's not entirely true. I don't have the rule book in front of me, but the additional shaken result might count towards combat resolution (though that's probably a moot issue against a dread since you can't force a morale)

The extra Shaken will not count cause it will not happen against a Dred.... EVER.

You cannot shake a Dred from the Thunder Hammer Special Rule.

TRD - does the dread have an Init value? Yes
Is it therefore a vehicle WITHOUT an Init? No
Does it therefore get affected? No

AS has been said 3 times: you cannot affect a dread with the TH special rule. EVER
