Anyone out there that has bought Finecast?

I looked at one, found it was more expensive than the metal version, put it back, and laughed at GW and left the store.

Yes, I have brought the finecast Emporer's Champion. It was only slightly more expensive than the metal model, which is to be expected as GW have spent millions on this new material.
It was so much more detailed than the metal version, and much lighter, witch can only be good news.

Yea I went to buy the finecast Emporer's Champion as well, Because I was going to use it in a conversion, I LOVE the way the helmet looks, but alas, $20+ for one figure is not my idea of a good time :-(

Yes, this generally happens with me for most of their boxed sets.

Haven't actually seen any Finecast in person though, not willing to pass judgement until I do.

To the OP, if you look at the major topic of discussions on Dakka, quite a few people have picked up the Finecasts.
