Not to be too cynical, but I think you will have some what of a hard time with the list. I am not saying you will lose rather it has no redundancy. Your list seems scattered and not focused for example: You have a razorback and a chimera. A purifier squad and some terminators. I just think that making a list with these models and winning will be tough.

Well yeah, the problem is that you currently lack two of the most Dread(ed) items in a GK list...Naughts and Knights

So what you need to do with this list is think highly elite. I'm going to be honest...you will need to think about possibly buying a Draigo figure or converting him. If you do that, you then have a Paladin army easily to 1500 with some options. You lack fire support for the bulk of your force, but I'm going to see what I can do with just your list of models.

Don't be surprised when Coteaz and henchmen don't show up in my list .

What you have is kind of a lost cause to work with. You need like 2 more purifiers and Crowe, or you need more GK Strike Squad Models to build a hybrid henchmen list around. In both lists you need at least 2 Dreadnoughts to provide long range Anti tank. For henchmen shooting load outs you might wanna try, 3x Servitor w/ heavy bolter, 3x Acolyte 3x Plasma Gun, Weaponsmith, Mystic (for deep striking).

1499 Points. Give Scout-Outflank on Paladins and choose battles wisely. Use Interceptor Squad to pop transports where possible with S5 Stormbolters.

No, No I disagree with your said list. I think a crowe list would work fine at 1,500pt army list. Like the following

x5 (5 man) Purifiers x2 Pyscannons x3 Halbreds Rhino YMMV if you want a hammer in there. 186pts each, 930pts
x3 Dreadnaughts x2 TL-AC psy-ammo. 135 each, 405
15pts left to play around with. This list is not the one you have but I disagree with the Draigo wing, especially in 1,500 point armies.

I think that essentailly you need more Power armor Grey Knight bodies if you want a competative list.

One small unit of paladins in a transport might be doable at 1500 pts, but would not be optimal.


10 man Strike squads in rhinos (2x canons and psybolt ammo)
5 Man Purifiers in rhinos (2x cannons, 3x halberds)

This (or something similar) seems to be the two most competitive builds for GK troops at the moment. Strike squads are more shooty, the purifiers are better in combat and have MSU advantages.


Paladins are simply too many points to build a list around unless you are playing 2000+ pts. Even then it is still ahrd to pull off.

Coteaz+Henchmen can work as well, but they are not GK, so I left them out. More info in the article in my signature if you want it.

You guys are making lists with way more models than he has.

He's trying to do what he can with the small amount of models he has not go out and buy $300 more models.

There are a lot of average to decent lists that you can make with that model list.

The issue is that the OP also said "competitive". With the models he has right now, there is not a really good competitive build for 1000-1500 pts.

It is not the best list, but it is decent with what you have.

Psy-dread would be a good think to look into getting, when you start looking to expand your force.
