Resisting the womanly allures of the CRASSUS ARMOURED ASSAULT TRANSPORT i instead splurged out on the Chaos dwarf Steamdozer (think it is actually called something less awesome than steamdozer btw ). Has anyone got one yet? Is it a pain in the eyeball to assemble? Is it more warped than Josef Fritzl's imagination?

Finally what would look cool with regards to painting? Red and brass? Verdigris and rust? Copper and steel?

well this is a roller if i ever saw one... how come you want one in the first place... i could understand the aesthetics about the mini, but do you play/collect chaos dwarf now too...? well some parts do look good for me but the whole is rather meh... but this you didn´t ask^^ so i answer your question instead now^^:

well all the above i guess here and there...
for me it looks like a realy old and worn steam lokomotiove... so basically black would aply here and of course with chaos you cant go wrong with red...then brass of course to better pay respect to the steampunk scene^^ and then as brass lacks a certain kind of sturdiness i would do steel and copper...and on the copper you can´t forgett the Verdigris ...

but for me i mostly the hobbywork would consist of toning down certain design aspects that are too overtly chaosy...namely the wheels, as i think i could rather do without those unsubtle looking spikes and the star...for a choasservant these days i think they are way out of fashion...

well this is of course only the musing of an old man who is currently not into chaos... so you have to measure all my thoughts here through a bit of a more forgiving filter^^

I just loved the model on sight had to get it. And tbh 50 buck aint really that bad, considering a macharious is 100.

Land raiders are now 41 bucks each so 82 pounds lol

ohoh... seems my own marines will have to wait an eternity for their own landraider...guess i had missed the point of now than never...^^
